Lady Eagles Nickell and Booth Honored as USCAA All-Americans

The USCAA (United States Collegiate Athletic Association) has announced their Women’s Basketball All-American squad for 2012-13. Alice Lloyd College junior sensation Ariel Nickell and outstanding sophomore Carla Booth were both named to the exclusive first team.

Lady Eagles Lose Heartbreaker in KIAC Semifinals

The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles battled Asbury University on Monday afternoon in the semifinals of the KIAC tournament. ALC fought back from a double-figure second half deficit to cut the lead to one, but missed a shot at the end and fell 74-73.

Lady Eagles Roll Over Midway in KIAC Quarterfinal

The Lady Eagles' journey to a potential KIAC championship and NAIA tournament bid began Saturday against Midway. In a rematch of the previous weekend's season finale, ALC defeated Midway 76-69.

Alice Lloyd Has Stellar Senior Day

Alice Lloyd celebrated its annual Senior Day festivities on Saturday, February 16th. The Alice Lloyd Eagles defeated IU East, 71-68, and the Lady Eagles won their final appearance at home versus Midway, 88-75. With the win, the women move to #2 in the KIAC as they enter tournament play.

Alice Lloyd traveled to Ohio Christian on Tuesday night to take on the Lady Trailblazers from the NCCAA. The Lady Eagles won the hard fought match-up, 76-70.
