Campus Ministries
Alice Lloyd College is a non-sectarian institution and promotes no specific doctrine or creed. Students are encouraged to attend the church of their choice. However, the college philosophy is based on the Christian faith and promotes Christian principles and values.
The College has an active student ministry, which is open to all denominations. Activities include:
- Thursday Night Group Service
- Worship Music
- Time of Prayer
- Sermon led by ALC students
- Men’s and Women’s Small Groups
- Van rides to local churches
- Ice Cream Socials
- Men’s and Women’s Nights
- Guest Speakers
- Games
- Crafts
- Food
- Fellowship
Campus Ministries in the Community
Campus Ministries visits local nursing homes periodically. Students play bingo, bible trivia games, and sing songs with residents. They also hand out crossword puzzles, word searches, and magazines. Campus Ministries also serves as a drop off location for Operation Christmas Child. Recently, Campus Ministries collected over 1,000 shoeboxes that were sent to children around the world.
