Ready to transfer? Alice Lloyd College’s Transfer Day is the official welcome event for new transfer students. As a new transfer student, you have an exciting transition ahead of you! Alice Lloyd College offers many opportunities for transfers. This event provides an opportune time to schedule your interview, work one-on-one with a transfer coordinator, and meet the Director of Admissions.
This day will provide a transfer student with:
- a better understanding of the academic and community expectations of an Alice Lloyd College student
- the ability to feel more prepared to transition into Alice Lloyd College
- the chance to become acquainted with the resources available (e.g., meeting with Financial Aid)

Summer Orientation
Alice Lloyd College is committed to helping new students make a smooth and enjoyable transition to college life. Each summer, ALC hosts summer orientation as one of many ways to introduce new students to life on campus. By attending summer orientation, you will become more familiar with college life. You will learn more about our athletics programs, student activities, the Student Work Program, the Caney Scholars, and much, much more. Through this opportunity you will meet other new students as well as our outstanding faculty and staff. Summer Orientation will provide you with all of the valuable information you will need to meet your educational and personal goals.

College Fairs
Representatives from ALC’s Office of Admissions pay regular visits to various college fairs, programs, etc. At these events, you may obtain information about the College and have your questions answered by a member of our Admissions staff. Just look for the ALC booth!
