Our special guest is an all-male quartet. The Penny Loafers blend a variety of musical styles, from 1950s doo-wop to contemporary gospel, combining impressive vocal tools, original material, new arrangements of traditional favorites, and a unique sound that appeals to all ages. The "Loafers" formed in 1985 when four Berea College students appeared in a campus talent show, singing an a cappella version of "Happy Trails." Members of the group came and went until they went on the road full-time in 1989. They have performed at various events and venues across the country over the last fifteen years, including banquets, conventions, universities, and churches. Although no longer on the road full-time, The Penny Loafers continue to perform nationwide. All of the group members currently serve churches in both pastoral and music ministry.

*This is a special performance during Appalachia Day Homecoming.
