Alice Lloyd College received 5 points in the latest NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

The Lady Eagles continued their winning ways last night as they hosted conference opponent Berea College. ALC defeated the Lady Mountaineers by a score of 78-65.

With weekend wins over Point Park University and Carlow University, the Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles have taken over the Number One ranking in the conference.

Junior forward Ariel Nickell poured in 39 points, including the go ahead free throw with 5 seconds remaining in overtime, to lift the visiting Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles to a thrilling 88-87 win over the University of Pikeville Lady Bears. The contest was played at the Pikeville Exposition Center.

Sophomore sharpshooter JJ Hickson connected on 5-9 from long range to spark the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles to a big 67-53 come-from-behind win over the visiting Ohio Christian University Lady Trailblazers on Saturday.
