Alice Lloyd traveled to Pittsburgh to face the newest edition to the KIAC, the Point Park University Pioneers. The hosts rode their high-scoring offense to win 118-83.

Point Park came out hot and led 15-2 after five minutes. The Pioneers hit 7 of 10, along with a couple of treys, to start the game while Alice Lloyd struggled offensively at 1-for-11.

The Eagles responded with a 15-2 run of their own to tie the score at 17-17 with 10:47 to go in the first half. However, Point Park outscored ALC 40-20 before halftime to lead 57-37 at the break.

The Pioneers scored 61 points in the final 20 minutes and sank 10 of their 15 treys in the second half to destroy any hopes of an Eagles comeback.

For Alice Lloyd (4-5, 0-1 KIAC), junior point guard Isaac Wilson had a team-high 23 points, while senior center Terry Muse had 19 points and 13 rebounds.

Guards Justin Hobbs, Stuart Stamper, and Cody Stumbo chipped in with 11, 10, and 10 points, respectively. Hobbs added 4 assists.

Matt Noszka led The Pioneers (5-1, 1-0 KIAC) with 32 points.

Point Park shot 52 percent for the game, while Alice Lloyd shot 47 percent.
