Alice Lloyd College is a non-sectarian institution and promotes no specific doctrine or creed. Students are encouraged to attend the church of their choice. However, the college philosophy is based on the Christian faith and promotes Christian principles and values.
The College has an active Baptist Collegiate Ministry chapter, which is open to all denominations. Activities include:
- weekly prayer sessions
- dorm Bible studies
- discipleship training
- various mission projects
- participation in creative ministry and musical ensemble ministry teams
- several state and national events
BCM offers students an opportunity for Christian fellowship. A student-elected executive council works closely with the Director to coordinate campus activities. The BCM participates in activities on the state level in such events as the annual volleyball tournament and state convention. Raising money for world hunger missions and going on mission trips are some other projects the BCM undertakes. The BCM’s primary goal is to promote the spiritual growth of the student body.
The BCM Director is available to mentor students in their spiritual development. For more information, contact:
