Pippa’s Song and Other Publications
Pippa’s Song
Pippa’s Song, the official newsletter of Alice Lloyd College and The June Buchanan School, is published three times a year and contains news articles featuring current students, alumni, faculty, and staff. A publication of the offices of Marketing and Communications, Development, and Alumni Relations, it seeks to inform Alice Lloyd College alumni and friends about student achievements, campus activities, general updates, alumni accomplishments, and opportunities to connect with each other and the College, as well as to give special recognition to the College’s supporters.
Annual Report
Alice Lloyd College is proud of its record of fiscal responsibility. A special Annual Report issue of Pippa’s Song is published each spring to inform alumni, friends, and supporters of where our funds originate as well as how we use them in our educational endeavors. The publication is made available online, or you may request that we send a copy of the Annual Report or our latest audit to you by mail.
Books
In this first full-scale study of Lloyd’s life and work and the institution she founded, David Searles shows how this courageous and complex woman struggled throughout her long life against seemingly insurmountable odds to create an institution dedicated to improving life in Appalachia.
