Six ALC Students Awarded Frankfort Semester Internships By AIKCU
Six Alice Lloyd College students have been awarded Frankfort Semester Internships and are spending their spring semester working and studying in Kentucky’s state capital. Their selection for the 12-week program marks the largest number of students from the same school ever chosen at one time for the competitive internships.

Lady Eagles Get By Berea, 85-83, Retain #1 Ranking
The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles journeyed to Berea, Kentucky on Tuesday, February 18th, to take on the Berea College Lady Mountaineers. The Lady Eagles overcame an eight-point halftime deficit to earn an important victory, defeating their conference rivals, 85-83. With the win, ALC retains its #1 ranking in the KIAC as we hurdle towards next week’s conference tournament.

Booth Named KIAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
Alice Lloyd College junior Carla Booth was named the KIAC women’s basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, February 17th. This is her second player of the week award of the season.
Lady Eagles Continue Hot Streak, Defeat Midway, 86-70
The Lady Eagles resumed action over the weekend by hosting conference foe Midway College. In what would become a foul plagued contest, ALC persevered and took this one by a final score of 86-70. With the win, Alice Lloyd moves to #1 in the KIAC rankings.

The Alice Lloyd Eagles hosted Asbury University on Tuesday, February 11th. The Eagles played an impressive game and imposed their will in the second half to win by a score of 89-76.

The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles were back on their home court on Tuesday, February 11th. The Lady Eagles fell behind, but roared back to take an epic 107-105 double overtime victory over Asbury University.
Singer Jimmy Rose to Visit ALC Campus This Month
The June Buchanan PTO is proud to present Jimmy Rose in concert! Rose will be performing at the Campbell Arts Center on the campus of Alice Lloyd College on Friday, February 21st, at 7 PM. Tickets are $25.
Eagles Power Past IU East, 94-86
The Alice Lloyd Eagles went to Richmond, Indiana on Sunday, February 9th, to battle the Indiana University-East Red Wolves. Alice Lloyd played an impressive game and came away with a huge victory, 94-86.
Women’s Hoops Wins Third Straight, 83-76
The Alice Lloyd women’s hoops team shined again in KIAC action, recording their third straight win last night on the road, defeating the Lady Eagles of Cincinnati Christian 83-76. With the win, ALC moves into the #2 spot in the KIAC rankings.

Nickell, Booth Lead Lady Eagles Past IU Southeast, 83-61
The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles hosted the Indiana University Southeast Lady Grenadiers on Saturday, February 1st. The Lady Eagles were hoping for the season sweep, having won at IUS earlier in the semester. ALC dominated from start to finish, and won by the final score of 83-61. This would also be a history making game for senior forward Ariel Nickell.
Lady Eagles Bounce Back With Win Over Brescia, 109-92
The Alice Lloyd women’s hoops team hit the road for another important conference test versus the Brescia University Lady Bearcats last night. After suffering a surprising loss to Midway College on Saturday, the Lady Eagles went into this one with a sizable chip on their shoulder. Propelled by a huge first half offensive performance, ALC rocketed to the lead and never looked back, defeating their rivals 109-92.
