Alice Lloyd College’s Student Government Association (SGA) hosts 2 blood drives each semester during the academic year. On Thursday, January 18th, from 11 am until 3 pm, SGA hosted its first Kentucky Blood Center Blood Drive of the 2024 spring semester in Cushing Hall.
SGA is pleased to report that 16 units of blood were donated during the drive despite the cold and snowy weather. These 16 units of blood help save 48 lives. SGA is grateful for the student body’s participation in the event and appreciates all who donated. This academic year, 75 pints of blood have been donated during the Student Government sponsored blood drives on campus.
