Alice Lloyd College is saddened to announce the passing of longtime staff member Marylou Gayheart. Marylou served the College for forty-seven years in several capacities, spending most of her time in the Student Services department as an Administrative Assistant. Marylou was a familiar face to ALC students as she assisted with dorm room sign-ups and other student-related activities.
The entire Alice Lloyd College family is saddened by the loss of one of its members. The outpouring of love from the campus community during this time is a testament to Marylou’s influence on those who knew her.
Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Hindman, Kentucky, will conduct funeral arrangements. Visitations will be held on Sunday, September 24th, at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. and all day Monday, September 25th, with services beginning Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the same location on Tuesday, September 26th at 1:00 p.m.
