This week in Pippa Passes there will be plenty of campus events to attend as students will settle into routines for the fall 2023 semester.
On Tuesday, August 22nd, the Student Government Association will host a KY Blood Center blood drive in Cushing Hall from 11am-3pm. SGA reminds those wishing to donate to please make an appointment online with kybloodcenter.org or by calling 800- 775-2522. Also make certain to bring your photo ID. Student donors may receive convocation credit for donating blood by filling out a community service card that will be available at Cushing Hall. Students must remember that only one blood drive per semester counts towards convocation credit. Tuesday is also the last day for students to register, Drop/Add, classes for the fall semester.
Students wishing to run for office in the Student Government Association may register from 11:30 am-1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 23rd and Thursday, August 24th in the 1st floor foyer of the Davis Student Center. In sports, the Lady Eagles Volleyball team will begin their 2023 season on Saturday, August 26. The Lady Eagles will face the Johnson University Royals at noon in the Perry Campus Center. To find the 2023 volleyball schedule and other sports news, click here.
