On Wednesday, June 21st, four Alice Lloyd College students and one ALC advisor traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to attend the Future Business Leaders of America National Leadership Conference. The students represented the College well by working hard, overcoming challenges, and advancing to finals in several categories. 

During the conference, the students presented multiple times as they advanced further into the competitions. Neeley Greene placed 6th in Digital Media. Peyton Sexton placed 3rd in Community Service Project, 4th in Accounting Case Analysis, and 6th in Economic Analysis and Decision Making. Brittany Taylor and Misty Wooton placed 9th in Business Presentation. Brittany Taylor and Misty Wooton also advanced to finals in the top 14 for State of Chapter Presentation. Misty Wooton also represented Kentucky as Who’s Who in FBLA Collegiate. The College is proud of our FBLA students’ strong performance at the conference. 

The students and Mrs. Denise Jacobs had the opportunity to do some sightseeing at the Georgia Aquarium and The World of Coca-Cola. The members and advisers would like to thank the Administration for their continued support of FBLA.
