This week in Pippa Passes will be busy with convocations and exciting sports action, but first, a quick shout-out to our Lady Eagles Basketball Team. The Lady Eagles represented Alice Lloyd College well as they played in the NCCAA D1 Women’s Basketball National Championship. The Lady Eagles made it to the semifinals where they fell to Oakland City University by 1 point. Overall, they placed fourth in the Championship and made us proud.

In sports this week, the baseball and softball teams will have an intense week as they face numerous opponents. The baseball team will take on Maranatha Baptist at home on Tuesday and University of the Cumberlands in an away game on Wednesday before traveling to take on Indiana University Southeast on Friday and Saturday.
