We award the Men’s Student-Athlete of the Week honor to Winchester, Kentucky strongman Will Philpot.
The junior forward registered his seventh double-double of the season to lift the ALC Eagles to a big 78-57 conference victory over IU East.
Philpot scored 14 points on 60% shooting (6-10) from the field and 100% (2-2) from the charity stripe. He added a game-high 12 rebounds while adding 2 assists and 1 steal.
Philpot is currently tied for first in the conference in rebounding (10.4) and tied for second in field goal percentage (61.3). The Eagles are undefeated at 16-0, one of only three undefeated teams in the country.
