Pippa Passes, KY: Four players hit double figures to help lift the Alice Lloyd College Eagles to a 72-59 victory over the Oakland City University Mighty Oaks. The River States Conference tilt was held on Saturday afternoon in the Perry Campus Center.

In the first half, the Eagles would ride the hot hand of junior center Colyn Sturgill to lead from the first possession. The hosts would hold a 6- 8 point cushion the majority of the way, but foul trouble would enable the Oaks to make a late run. ALC would lead 35-32 at intermission.

A powerful dunk from Eagle sophomore guard Ben Soumahoro would give Alice Lloyd a 47-36 advantage at 11:26. From that point, the Eagles would get solid contributions from senior guard Noah Young, junior forward Will Philpot, and sophomore forward Damon Tobler that permitted the Pippa Passes boys to control the outcome of the contest the remainder of the way.
