Beckley, WV: On Wednesday, October 27th, the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball squad traveled to the Mountaineer state to battle the Appalachian Bible College Lady Warriors. When the dust had settled on the challenging contest, the Kentucky squad had earned the big five-set victory.

In Game 3, ALC kept the contest close as they were determined to finish the match. Unfortunately, the Warriors would battle hard and score the final points to take the match, 21-25.
In Game 4, the home club took an early lead and appeared poised for the easy win. Trailing 16-22, the Lady Eagles began to fight back. With their lead dwindling, ABC would regroup and close the score at 22-25. This would force the pressure-packed fifth set.
In Game 5, the Pippa Passes crew looked determined to finish the job and they slowly pulled out to a 14-8 lead.
