Powell, TN: On October 12th, the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball squad traveled to the Volunteer state to battle the Crown College Lady Crusaders. After the sun had set on the contest, the hosts had earned a 1-3 match victory.

In the opening game, the two squads battled point-for-point till the score read 21-21. CC would score four points, however, and win 22-25.

In Game 2, ALC took the early lead and extended it to as much as eight points before winning 25-19.

In Game 3, the contest was knotted at 12 before the home club rolled off a 9-2 burst to pull away. They would take the contest, 19-25.

Both squads knew the importance of Game 4 as it was the one the Lady Eagles needed to have to force a tie-breaking 5th game. The effort was intense throughout, but CC made the final play when they had to have it and won, 23-25.

On the day for ALC, Brooklyn Cheek led in kills with 9, while Jayden Rogers contributed 24 digs to the club. Kristin Issac recorded 15 assists and 2 aces.  Lakyn Porter registered 3 blocks to lead in that department.
