Wilmore, KY: On October 21st, the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball squad traveled to central Kentucky to battle the Asbury University Lady Eagles. After the sun had set on the contest, the hosts had earned a 3-0 match victory.

In the opening game, the hosts raced out to a quick ten-point advantage and cruised to the 12-25 win.

In Game 2, Asbury took control of the match from the beginning. They would roll off several big flurries enroot to the 8-25 win.

In Game 3, ALC came out determined to reverse things. The Caney Creek club looked focused as they led the match in the early going. Asbury would bounce back to take the lead (17-15) only to watch the visiting Lady Eagles rally to tie things. Unfortunately, with the score standing at 19-19, AU then used five big kills to eventually seal the contest, 19-25.

On the day for ALC, Reiley McCoy led in kills with 9, while Jayden Rogers and Jenni Droke contributed 7 digs to the club. Mckenzie Brewer and Elizabeth McIntosh registered the lone blocks, while Caroline Parsons recorded 8 assists.
