Knoxville, TN:  On August 31st, the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball team traveled to the Volunteer state to face the Johnson University Lady Royals. The visitors came out flat, and it would prove costly.

Johnson roared out of the gates in game 1 then cruised to the 7-25 win.

The hosts would then take control early in set 2, and pull away for the 11-25 victory.

The third game was much tighter as ALC looked to come back in the match. The Lady Eagles battled well and the contest was tight at 14-16. Unfortunately, JU would close with a burst, and end the night with the 19-25 win.

On the day for the Bluegrass ladies, sophomore Caroline Parsons led in the assist column with 6 and junior Adrianna Riley recorded 11 digs. Senior Jasmine Hamilton had 6 kills, while freshman Jayden Rogers and sophomore Kristin Issac each nailed 1 ace.
