Richmond, IN: On Friday, September 3rd, the Alice Lloyd Eagles golf team journeyed to Richmond, Indiana to participate in their first tournament of the year. The IU East Fall Invitational was held in the Hoosier State at the Highland Lake Golf Course.
Over the two-day affair, ALC would wind up shooting 339/336 for a total score of 675. This result placed the Eagles 6th of 7 competing squads.
On an individual basis, sophomore Mason Compton paved the way as he fired a 74/77 to finish tied for 13th. He was followed by freshman Dylan Fitch, who shot an 87/82 for 169 to finish 30th, a solid result for his first tournament.
In addition, senior Korey Hanson shot 87/87 to finish tied for 34th. Freshman Carson Hanson (91/90) ended up with a score of 181 (Tie 36), while senior Matthew Henson shot 93/97 for 190 and finished tied for 37th.
