Prestonsburg, KY: The 2021 ALC Fall Invitational was held at Stonecrest Golf Course in Prestonsburg, KY on September 13th and 14th with a total of 48 men competing in the tournament.
Roane State CC, Tennessee won the championship shooting 304/290 for a two-round total of 594 and a 2 shot win over UPike. Micah Strangebye of Kentucky State was the men’s medalist with a 5 under par 139 and a 3 shot win over Alice Lloyd sophomore golfer Mason Compton. For the event, the Pippa Passes crew shot 637 as a team and finished tied for 5th in a 7-team field.
Also, for Alice Lloyd, freshman Dylan Fitch shot 153 to place 11th, while senior Korey Hanson shot 164 to finish 30th.
Other finishers included: senior Wyatt Crisp (168 to finish 36th), freshman Matthew Fitch (179 to finish 42nd), senior Matthew Henson (191 to finish 43rd), freshman Carson Hanson (192 to finish 44th), and junior Jaden Gay (205 to finish 46th).
Next up for the Eagles golf team is the NCCAA Mideast regional in Montgomery, Indiana on September 20/21.
