We award the Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor to Eagle Track and Field members for earning points in the NCCAA National Track and Field Meet held in Greenville, Illinois at the end of last week.
For the men, senior Mark Slusher was the top-point-earner, with his performance in the Hammer Throw. His distance of 45.92m (150.08ft) was good for 4th Place and 5 team points
The 4x800m Relay Team (Alex Lewis, Owen Lindsey, Micah Blankenship, Anthony Hidalgo) earned 4 points with their 5th Place finish, in a nice time of 8:20.39.
Senior Ryan Morris earned 8th Place in the Men’s 10,000 M run as his 33:59 time was worth 1 point.
Sophomore Andre Harless finished 8th in the 400 M hurdles (101:07) which were worth another point for the Eagles.
