The senior from Pippa Passes (KY) had a solid week at the plate. In six contests, he batted .444 (8-18) with 6RBI’S, 1 double, 1 home run, and 2 steals. He also scored 7 runs.
On the season, Cornett is currently tied for 1st in the NCCAA in triples (4) and is batting .450 (9th in NCCAA) with a .750 slugging percentage, and .522 on-base percentage. He also leads the club with 10 doubles and 11 stolen bases. He has homered twice.
