We award the Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor to Track/Field athlete Kimberly Lee.
In the University of Lynchburg Invitational, which was held in Lynchburg, Virginia, and featured a large field of teams from every level of affiliation, the senior came through for the club in the Discus throw. Lee’s toss of 29.95m was good enough to give her a second-place finish out of 11 competitors and earned 8 big points for the squad. For the event, the Lady Eagles wound up 11th out of 15 competing clubs.
