Pippa Passes, KY: The visiting Buffaloes blew open a close contest in the fourth inning and pulled away for the win.

Alice Lloyd and Milligan played even ball through three innings as the score read 1-1 heading into the fourth.
However, in that inning, MC would produce 3 runs (1-4). They then follow that inning up with an even better one in the fifth, as a big home run led to a 5 run windfall (1-9). Four more runs in the sixth would then give Milligan an insurmountable advantage (1-13)
In their half of inning five, the host squad began to fight back, as they used a homerun from Cannon Ferrell and a double from Dalton Cornett to produce 5 important runs (6-13).
Unfortunately, the visitors would tack on 2 insurance runs in their next-at-bat, and then ice the game for the win.
At the plate, Cornett would finish 3-4 with a double. He scored 1 run as well. Ferrell smacked 2 hits, including a homer.
Four pitchers took to the mound for the Caney Creek club. Logan Hankins suffered the loss as the starter.
The visitors outhit the Pippa Passes Eagles 18-8 and played error-free ball compared to ALC’s 3 errors.
