We split the Women’s Student-Athlete of the Week honor between Paintsville, Kentucky, native Ali May, and Grayson, Kentucky, native Haley Hall.
Senior Ali May came through with a big game to help the Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles win the first contest they have been able to play since a November 3rd victory at Milligan (TN).
Against Rio Grande University, the guard pumped in a team-high 24 points on 6-16 shooting and 3-6 from long range. She also sank 9-11 from the charity stripe. Also, she grabbed 4 rebounds and dished off 3 assists. The win pushed the Lady Eagles record to 2-0.
