We split the Women’s Student-Athlete of the Week honor between Grayson, Kentucky, senior Haley Hall, and Wise, Virginia sophomore Carlee Salyers.
In the 83-74 season-opening basketball victory at Milligan, Hall pumped in a game-high 26 points on 9-16 field goals, including 2-5 from deep. Also, she added 4 rebounds and 3 steals.
In the River States Conference Cross Country Tournament, Salyers paced the club as she finished in a time of 21:24. This solid time placed her 15th out of 97 runners.
