We split the Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor between Dryden, Virginia senior Ryan Morris, and Bronx, New York freshman Anthony Hidalgo.
In the River States Conference Cross Country Tournament, Morris paced the club as he finished in a solid time of 28:23 while Hidalgo was just one second back in 28:24.
The two speedsters placed 10th and 11th overall out of 86 runners. These times were good enough to qualify both of them for the NAIA National Championships this spring, and they now become the first male runners to qualify for the NAIA Cross Country Nationals in school history.
In addition, both were named Second Team All-Conference for their fine effort.
