Pikeville, KY: On October 24, the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball team traveled to Pikeville to face a solid club from Cincinnati and a tough University of Pikeville team. The following are recaps.

In Game 1, the Ohio club looked impressive as they jumped ahead quickly and rolled to the 25-12 win. In Game 2, the Lady Eagles led early and steadily pulled away to take the contest, 25-19.

In Game 3, the two squads were both determined to win the match. UC managed to pull the game out with a few late scores, 25-21. Game 4 was a dogfight as both teams gave their all.  Unfortunately, Clermont scored the final two points to seal the victory, 25-23.

On the day, sophomore Adrianna Riley led ALC with 13 assists while sophomore Callie Richardson and junior Jasmin Hamilton set the standard in kills with 7 apiece. Sophomore Jenni Droke tied Riley in digs as each registered 23. Freshman Sierra Dawson had 4 aces while Hamilton recorded 4 blocks.

In Game 1, the host club looked impressive as they jumped ahead quickly on their way to the 25-12 win. In Game 2, the Lady Eagles saw UPike take command quickly and continue to pull away and take the contest, 25-11.

With their backs against the wall in Game 3, the Lady Eagles responded with a clutch performance. They took the last two points and won the 26-24 thriller. Game 4 was close early, but the host Bears pulled away and took the contest 25-15.

On the day, freshman Caroline Parsons led ALC with 13 assists while freshman Brooklyn Cheek paved the way in kills with 10. Jenni Droke led in digs with 20 and aces with 3. Cheek and Jasmine Hamilton both recorded 4 blocks.
