Pippa Passes, KY: On October 8th, the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball team played Rio Grande University for the second time this season. The visitors would seal the victory in three straight games.

In Game 1, the hosts jumped ahead 8-1 only to witness Rio roar back with a massive spurt to win, 25-13.
In Game 2, the hosts tried to hang tough but the Red Storm would not be denied as they took the contest, 25-12.
In Game 3, the visitors were determined to end the match and built a gradual lead on their way to the clinching 25-13 score.
On the day, sophomore Adrianna Riley led ALC with 13 assists while freshman Brooklyn Cheek and junior Jasmine Hamilton paved the way in kills with 5 and 4 respectively. Jenni Droke was the squad leader in digs with 10.
Alice Lloyd returns to play this Saturday when they travel to Welch College (TN).
