Wilmore, KY: On Tuesday, September 22nd, the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball team traveled to central Kentucky to face the Eagles of Asbury University. The matchup was the second between the two clubs within a week. The contest was entertaining, but AU would seal the victory in Game 4.

In Game 1, the hosts came out on fire as they raced to a big lead. They would prevail, 25-13. In Game 2, ALC played well and battled the home club tooth-and-nail. An exciting finish lifted the Caney Creek squad to the 26-24 win.

In crucial Game 3, the squads played tight as the game was a dogfight. Asbury would pull-ahead late to earn the 25-19 win. In must-win Game 4, the Pippa Passes Lady Eagles fought ferociously, but the hosts would go on a run to close out the night, 25-16.

On the day for the home team, sophomore Adrianna Riley led the squad with 9 assists. Sophomore Jenni Droke had 15 digs while freshman Brooklyn Cheek led the club in kills with 8.
