On September 26th, the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball team hosted the defending USCAA National Champions, UC Clermont, and Johnson University in a tri-match. Below are recaps of the two contests.

ALC put up a strong fight against a quality opponent. In the first game, the two squads battled before the visitors pulled away down the stretch to win 25-21. UC looked solid in game two but had to hold on for a big 25-20 victory. Alice Lloyd would battle in game three to the wire but fall by a 25-22 score.
On the day for the Eagles, Caroline Parsons led the squad with 8 assists. Brooklyn Cheek led in kills with 5, Callie Richardson led in blocks with 5, and Jenni Droke, recorded 18 digs.

Johnson roared out of the gates in game one then held on for a 25-21 win. The hosts would then take the close win in set two, 25-20. The third game went to ABC, 25-13. Game four was a must-have for the Lady Eagles, but they fell 25-16.
On the day for the victors, Caroline Parsons and Adrianna Riley led in the assist column with 9 apiece. Jenni Droke recorded 19 digs. Callie Richardson had 11 kills, while Reiley McCoy added 10.
