Pippa Passes, Ky: The Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball team is excited to begin the 2020-21 season on Saturday, September 5th, when they travel to Ohio to face Cincinnati Clermont at 12:00 noon.
Coach Nathan Hall returns several important pieces from last year’s squad as his Lady Eagles look to build on their school-record 13 wins from last season.
The coach is excited about the players he is bringing back from that club and looks forward to combining them with the new crop of freshman recruits he was able to bring in. Hall believes that this team has a chance to achieve big things.
“I’m really excited about the prospects for the season,” the Alice Lloyd mentor replied. “We have a solid group returning and have added some high-quality freshmen this year with the potential to make a major impact. If we can stay healthy and continue to work hard, I think we have the makings of a quality ballclub.”
The home opener is set for Monday, September 7, when the Lady Eagles play host to Appalachian Bible College and Grace Christian University in a tri-match. The opening match between ALC and Grace is set for 11:00 am. The Lady Eagles will play ABC at 3 pm.
