Alice Lloyd College would like to congratulate the graduating Class of 2020. The 91 graduates have shown resilience throughout this difficult time, and the College looks forward to seeing the mountains they will conquer throughout their lives. The current situation has led to the postponement of the graduation ceremony, but the ALC faculty and staff are working hard to find a way to celebrate the graduates at a later date.
All of the graduates should be proud of their accomplishments and all they have achieved in the last four years. This year’s valedictorian is Andrew Shrum, and the salutatorian is TaLaura Mathis.
Mrs. Lloyd knew upon her arrival at Caney Creek that the leaders are here all they needed was an opportunity. The Class of 2020 has made the most of the opportunity provided by the College, and there is no doubt they are fully prepared to go out into the region to be the leaders that Appalachia needs. Once again, congratulations to the ALC Class of 2020!
