GREENVILLE, SC- The NCCAA DI Mideast Region has just announced its DI Women’s Basketball All-Region Team for the 2019-20 season. The voting was conducted by the coaches of each member school in the region.

Alice Lloyd College placed three players on the elite squad. Junior guard Haley Hall was named a first-team selection. She currently leads the club in scoring (17.3ppg), rebounding (6.0rpg) and steals (22). She also ranks in the top ten nationally in free throw percentage (86.1%). Hall was also named First Team All-Conference by the NAIA’s River States Conference.

Seniors Katie Moore and Jayla Spurlock were both named to the second team. Moore is second in scoring (12.2ppg) and leads the team in assists (2.7apg). Spurlock is fifth in scoring (7.2ppg) and third in rebounds (4.0rpg).

The Coach of the Year was also announced. This is presented to the coach of the regional championship squad. Alice Lloyd College’s John Mills earned this award for leading the Lady Eagles to a 76-68 victory over Kentucky Christian in the decisive contest.

Alice Lloyd will now advance to the 2020 NCCAA DI National Championship on March 18th in Winona Lake, Indiana.
