Louisville, KY: The 3rd seeded Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball team traveled to Boyce College for the opening round of the Mideast Regional Volleyball tournament on Thursday. Facing the 6th seeded Appalachian Bible Warriors, Coach Nathan Hall’s squad put on an impressive display to earn the convincing victory in straight sets.

The Lady Eagles looked focused in set 1 as they roared out to a huge lead and won, 25-9. The two squads were determined in set 2 but the Lady Eagles kept the pressure on and raced to the win, 25-10. Set 3 saw ALC determined to end things as they led from start to finish. They would win by a score of 25-10 to close out the contest.
ALC now advances to today’s semi-finals when they face 2nd seeded Johnson University (TN) at 4:00 pm. The winner will advance to Saturday’s championship at 12:00 pm.
