Portsmouth, OH – The ALC Men’s Golf team played in Shawnee States Roger Merb Invitational at The Elks Country Club in Portsmouth, Ohio. The site was a beautiful old golf course that was in terrific condition for the tournament.
For the event, the Eagles golfers struggled, shooting 338/321 for the two rounds to finish 8th of 8 participating teams. Reece Ison led ALC golfers by shooting 78/77 for a 155, good for 14th place of 59 golfers. Ison will represent Alice Lloyd at the NCCAA National Championship on October 21st through 23rd in Palm Coast, Florida.
Next up for the golf team is the ALC Eagle Invitational at Nob North Golf Course in Cohutta, Georgia on October 28th and 29th, the final event of the fall season.
