In leading her club to a 3-2 record to open the volleyball season, Sturgill led all players with 119 assists during 18 total sets for an average of 6.61 assists per game. She also led the team in digs in two of the matches.
In the challenging Berea College Cross Country Jamboree with 84 total runners, Salyers led the team in the 2-mile race as she crossed the line in a solid season-opening time of 12:49. Her swift performance helped her finish in 14th place.
