The Lady Eagles fought against the Ohio squad before falling in four games. The battle began in Game 1 as both clubs played evenly. UCC scored twice late to win, 26-24. Clermont looked solid in Game 2 and took a decisive 25-13 win which left them one game away from the sweep. Alice Lloyd would have no part of that as they hustled valiantly to earn the close win in Game 3 (25-22) and force a fourth game. In Game 4, the two evenly matched squads refused to give any ground before UCC won a squeaker (25-23) to earn the match.
