Pippa Passes, KY: On September 3rd, the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball team played their first home contest of the young season as they faced. Coach Nathan Halls squad took the three-game sweep to earn the victory contests. Below is a recap.

In the first set, ALC was dominant from start to finish as they blitzed Crown 25-2.

The hosts looked impressive once more in Game 2 as they cruised to the convincing 25-14 victory.

The visitors would respond in a big way in Game 3 and led most of the game. However, with the score tied at 19, Alice Lloyd would close out the game, and with it, earn the series.

On the day for the hosts, the Lady Eagles recorded their highest hitting percentage of the year, and it showed in the final tally.

Samantha Sturgill led the squad with 21 assists while Lindsey Perkins led in kills with 9. Adrianna Riley added 9 assists and joined Haley Smith and Jenni Droke with 8 digs apiece.
