Coach Robert Hamilton of the Alice Lloyd College Men’s Golf Team has high expectations for this year and feels his squad potentially can have a really good season.  According to Coach Hamilton, “You never know how a season may go, but we have the potential to have a big year.”

Coach Hamilton will have a roster full of more experienced returners this year, with no freshmen and only one senior player.  The returning roster includes veteran senior, Aaron Minor, three juniors, Brit Bowling, Reece Ison, and Isaiah Penley, along with three sophomores, Haden Halbert, Korey Hanson, and Matthew Henson.  After losing only one player from last season, the coach believes the team has returned in a good position with more experience.

If early signs are any indication, fans have much to be excited for as Coach Hamilton believes the team has improved from last year to this year. “They have gained much more consistency and control of their swings as a whole, and they have returned with a lot more confidence. I am encouraged that this is going to be a special year,” said the Eagle mentor.

The Eagles will see their first action of the year on August 26th and 27th at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC.
