We split the Women’s Student-Athlete of the Week honor between Lady Eagle softball players Alyssa Clark, and Jada Estep for leading their squad to a 4-0 week.
Clark, a freshman from Gate City (VA) had an outstanding week. In four games, she batted .571 (8-14) with 5 triples, 2 doubles and 12 RBI’s. She also scored 7 runs.
Estep, a sophomore from Hyden (KY), had an outstanding week as well. In four games, she batted .692 (9-13) with 1 home-run and 1 double. She added 9 RBI’s, scored 9 runs, and had 5 steals.
