We split the Male Athlete of the Week honor between Men’s Golfer Aaron Minor and Track and Field athlete Ryan Morris.
Minor from Blountville (TN), finished in 3rd place in the Alice Lloyd College Spring Invitational played at Battlefield Golf Course in Richmond, KY.
The junior shot a school record 67 the first day and followed up with a score of 80 the second day. His two-day total of 147 was good enough for third place out of 52 participants. His placement was just two strokes behind the winner.
Morris, a junior from Lee, Va. won the 10K at the Centre College Invitational with a time of 34 minutes, 31 seconds. His winning time bested the field by twelve seconds. The win marked his second consecutive 10k victory this spring.
