The Alice Lloyd Eagles baseball played host to Asbury University in a single game held on March 26. Below is a recap.
MARCH 26
ALC – 0 | Asbury – 10
Asbury unleashed two 4-run innings to earn the victory.
The visitors would score 4 runs in the second, add 4 more in the fifth, and seal the deal with 2 runs in the seventh.
The home squad was never able to get a rally going. Alex White smacked a double and Dalton Cornett had a single to provide the Eagles only offense for the day. Unfortunately, both were left stranded on base as the Eagles were limited to just 2 hits.
Dylyn Brown started on the mound and suffered the loss.
Asbury won the hitting battle, 15-2.
