GREENVILLE, SC – The NCCAA has just announced its national awards for the 2018-19 season. Alice Lloyd College Eagle guard Blake Smith was selected as an elite NCCAA First Team All-American.

The athletic 6’3 junior from Manchester, Ky. had an exceptional season.  He finished the year averaging 20.9 ppg, while connecting on 52 % from the floor and 35% from long distance. He also sank 72% from the free throw line. Additionally, he added 6 rebounds, 1.7 assists and finished second on the club in both steals and blocks.

His season high was 36 points, achieved on December 4th against Cincinnati Christian University, while his rebounding high was 10 (on three occasions) and assist high was 7.

In addition, Smith also finished first in voting for NCCAA Mid-East Regional Player of the Year and was named First Team All-Conference by the NAIA River States Conference.
