Beckley, W.Va. – The River States Conference has announced the ‘Champions of Character’ Team for 2016. From ALC, Brittany Buttrey, a sophomore from Whitesburg, KY, was selected for the Women’s Champion of Character squad. For the men, junior John Driskill, a junior from Jackson, KY, received the honor as the recipient from Alice Lloyd. Both have exhibited an exemplary work ethic in the both the classroom and on the field. In addition, both have served as positive role models in their communities. We congratulate these outstanding representatives of our college.
