The Alice Lloyd Eagles journeyed to Rio Grande, Ohio to face the home standing Red Storm in a KIAC conference match-up. The hosts won by a count of 87-77.

In the opening stanza, poor field goal shooting by the visitors (28.6%) helped Rio race out to a lofty 40-25 lead at the half.

In the second half, sparked by Cody Stumbo, the Eagles shooting improved and they began to chip away at the deficit.  The Eagles trailed by just 1 (75-74) with 1:31 remaining and had a shot to take the lead. Unfortunately, they missed and were forced to foul and the hosts closed the game out from the foul line.

For ALC (9-12; 4-2 KIAC), Stumbo was nearly perfect as he led the way with 22 points. Overall, he was 8-9 from the field (4-4 from long range) and sank both free throws. Additionally, he added 6 rebounds and 2 assists.  He was joined in double figures by Trevor Tiller with 15, and Mason Pack and Austin Crisp, each with 10. Crisp had a game high of 9 assists while Dakota Hall led the club with 8 rebounds.

The Red Storm (13-6; 2-2 KIAC) placed four players in double figures, led by Dwayne Bazemore with 27.

On the night, Alice Lloyd shot 40.6% (26-64) from the field including 43.5% (10-23) from long range, and was a solid 75% (15-20) from the charity stripe. They also had 33 rebounds and 13 assists.

Rio Grande shot 46.4% (32-69) from the field including just 15.8% (3-19) from long range, and was an excellent 87% (20 23) from the charity stripe. They also had 47 rebounds and 17 assists.
