ALC Announces New Sports

Alice Lloyd College is excited to announce that they will offer three new intercollegiate sports beginning in the fall of 2010.The new sport offerings will be Women’s Tennis, Women’s Volleyball, and Men’s Golf.{nl}“We are pleased to be able to offer these new programs for our student athletes,” said Director of Athletics Mr. Gary D. Stepp. “This is a win-win situation for all parties involved. First, it will benefit our school by giving our male and female students an opportunity to participate on the collegiate level in three new sports. Second, it also benefits our conference. We will now have enough league schools competing in every sport, which will allow each tournament champion to receive an automatic bid to their respective national tournament.”{nl}ALC is a member of the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
