Lady Eagles Softball Falls at Home to Berea

The 2010 Alice Lloyd Lady Eagle’s softball squad played on March 20th against conference foe Berea at Lady Eagle Field. ALC was swept in the double-header but showed some good signs of improvement.{nl}GAME 1{nl}BC-4; ALC-0{nl}The Lady Eagles had runners in scoring position several times, but were unable to come up with the key hit that they needed. Loren Whited pitched well striking out 9 and only giving up 7 hits, but still received the loss on the mound. ALC hurt themselves by only getting 1 hit.{nl}GAME 2{nl}BC -15; ALC-0{nl}Hitting was the difference as BC out swatted ALC 14-1.{nl}
